Unforgettable Puerto Galera | RO RO your Boat, Gently Down the Sea Stream

Philippine archipelago is surrounded by water that's why it has many beautiful beaches to visit in this country. One of the best beaches here are found in the province of Oriental Mindoro.  Puerto Galera was located in the southwestern end of the Isla Verde Passage and it is the northwestern most municipality province of Oriental Mindoro.

Puerto Galera has one of the most highest diversity of marine species in the world and some of the most diverse coral reef diving in asia.  Among the famous beaches in Puerto Galera are SABANG and WHITE BEACH because it has an active nightlife with numerous bars and restaurants. Sabang Beach is the main destination for foreign tourists while White Beach remains popular to local travelers.

Going to Puerto Galera was one of my unforgettable moments. I'm full of excitement because of those breathtaking views. You just have to say WOW...that was beautiful.

Liyu Lake Escapade

Nature tripping is one of the best adventure that can everybody will enjoy because I believed that everybody loves the beauty of the world.

Liyu Lake is one of the spots in Southern part of Hualien County which was located in Chinan Village, Shoufeng Township. It is the largest inland freshwater lake in this region. The lake was encircled by a road which can be walked in an hour. It is famous for its beautiful mountain scenery. Activities that are suitable here are camping, picnic and rowing the lake. Tourists can ride on a boat to sail the lake. From there you can see the mountains which surrounded in the lake. Tourists can walk or ride bycycle along the track. When the weather is good paragliders take off to Mt. Liyu, east part of Liyu Lake to see more the splashing green color of the mountain landscapes.

It was pretty bad when we went there because it was late winter and it was a little bit rainy but of course I still enjoyed the place. You feel peace in here. I like the tranquility of this place.

Behind me are the boats which tourists can ride on but it's not free of course, it is for the development and for the people who taking care of the lake. 

Expect to be more colder than in the city because of the good environment. I want to go back there again to see how it feels in summer season. And there are a lot more to discover there like the foods they serve which just across the lake. We just stayed there for a short time due to the weather condition so it feels like I'm going to get back there. And one thing I want to see there are the blooming of cherry flower which was planted on the foot of the Mt. Liyu. Unluckily when we went there the cherry flowers was just starting to bloom.

Exploring Qixing Lake (Qixingtan) Scenic Area

I've got an impressive view the first time I went here. I like the atmosphere because it was very relaxing, refreshing and soul healing though it was a little bit rainy when I went there. It was foggy because it's late winter season and it is a little bit cold. But I was very excited that time because I feel free from work stress..hehehe

Qixing Lake or Qixingtan (pronounce as Chisingtan) is located in Beipu Village, Xincheng Township, in the northeast of Hualien City, Hualien County, Taiwan. Visitors can go there via Meilun Industrial Park by following the directions or signs in front of  National Hualien University of Education.

Most I like here is the green environment. I feel good to see this kind of  surroundings.

Breathtaking View

In history, Qixing Lake (Qixingtan) is a poetic name in Chinese. It is said that there are scattered lake around the National Hualien University of Education and Hualien Airport. They were filled before as a result of construction. Today, Qixing Lake or Qixingtan area refers to the district located in the north of Meilun Industrial Park and Hualien Airport. There are sea valleys formed by faults and elegant bays with natural landscapes and culture resources. From Qixing Lake people can look over Qingshui Cliff. At night, people can appreciate the lights of the new city and Zongde District. 

There are many sightseeing spots in the area for recreational and educational field trip.

Qixing Lake (Qixingtan) Scenic Area was designated for the bicycle touring as well as walking or jogging.

There are many visitors going here and taking a walk together with their families and friends.

And one of the most visited here in Hualien are the stones with different shapes and sizes. Here in Qixing Lake there are many scattered stones of art. They are just amazing. It is  a masterpiece.

The big stone behind me is a masterpiece. It was impressive work.  It's not just stone. actually that was made by two big stones and they put together and it was standing in balance. Actually by looking it nearly there are many curves from that big stones..

HANGUL DAY ( 한글날 )Guess what letter is this?

October 9 was a very historical event for Korean people because it was the foundation of their language.

The Korean alphabet called Hangul originally transcribed as Hangeul (한글) for South Korea and Chosongul  (조선글) for North Korea. Han (한)  means "great" and Geul (한)   a native Korean word for "script".It was promulgated by SEJONG the GREAT, the fourth King of Joseon Dynasty. 

Hangul has 24 alphabets including consonants and vowel letters. It was grouped into blocks instead of being written sequentially like the letters of Latin alphabet. Each syllabic blocks contains of two to five letters including at least one consonant and one vowel. This blocks arranged horizontally from left to right or vertically from top to bottom.

The following letters and clusters of letters are found in the modern script:

• 14 consonant letters: ㄱ g, ㄴ n, ㄷ d, ㄹ l/r, ㅁ m, ㅂ b, ㅅ s, ㅇ null/ng, ㅈ j, ㅊch, ㅋ k, ㅌ t, ㅍ p, ㅎ h
• 5 double ("tense") consonants: ㄲ kk, ㄸ tt, ㅃ pp, ㅆ ss, ㅉ jj
• 11 consonant clusters: ㄳ gs, ㄵ nj, ㄶ nh, ㄺ lg, ㄻ lm, ㄼ lb, ㄽ ls, ㄾ lt, ㄿ lp, ㅀlh, ㅄ bs

It was very interesting to learn Korean alphabet, isn't it? I made a self studied on how to learn the strokes in writing their alphabets.  As they celebrate their Hangul Day I get myself a picture representing a one letter for Korean alphabet.

This picture represent the letter H which was written like this in Hangul ㅎ.  It was a snapshot after we ate dinner and I'm about to wash the dishes. hehehe,.. I just remember that it was Hangul Day 10/09  in Korea. This will show my support and love for Korea. But this picture has own meaning. I entitled this as "The Great Supper"  and it will present family value.

ETUDE HOUSE a Korean Touch in Loudong Tourists Night Market

Me and my friends hang out together at Loudong Tourists Night Market. We went here for food tripping because we want to taste their different delicacies. And out curiosity we went there because they said it was the most popular  night market in Yilan, Taiwan.

As we walk trough seeing and buying foods from corner to corner, here I found a place touch by a Korean products. ETUDE HOUSE is one of the most popular place to buy a Korean beauty products where it aims to beautify women. Etude is a cosmetic brand that are affordable, have high quality, lovely designs and a diverse color range.

But what attract me most as I saw this place....hmmm,,,check it out!!!

Guess who's that handsome guy infront of Etude House? It's SHINEE's Key...Annyeong Haseyo!!hahaha..
I'm happy with that picture because I love Kpop Idols even it's just a life size poster becasue the feelings of being in love with Korea is there...I love Korea.

Here is another Korean store just next in line with Etude House. Many  bling bling / stuffs can be found here that are imported from Korea.

It's just so interesting to be there walking, eating and have enjoying life with friends.

My BFF went to KOREANA BBQ

Eating together with family, love one's and with friends are priceless things compare to the price of what you are eating, right? In one table, people are reuniting and that was the best thing because people are gathered as one family and shared the tastes of joy and happiness in one's life.

This time, I want to share of some moments shared by my best friend. I'm happy for my best friend for what life she have now. I know each of us are blessed together with our circles of friends. Though we are miles away to each other we find ways to keep in touch. And that was one thing that makes our friendships going strong.
